Since 1963, the Freight Carriers Association of Canada (FCA) has been recognized and relied upon for its expertise in the Canadian for-hire trucking industry. Throughout its many years of operation, the FCA has witnessed the changing face of the transportation industry and adapted and expanded its expertise to always remain a viable and valuable partner.
Today, the FCA is Canada’s only independent organization to develop, publish, and maintain a weekly Fuel Index for the express purpose of providing valuable data regarding diesel fuel cost changes to its members. First introduced in 1991 as a Fuel Bulletin, the FCA continues to earn the trust of carriers, third party suppliers, and the customers they serve by diligently and professionally providing accurate and unbiased diesel fuel cost data.
The FCA provides this valuable service to its members and other interested parties on a subscription basis. Through this method, the FCA can better ensure the integrity of the data and continue to position itself as a viable source for understanding cost changes and how those costs impact the total operating costs for its members.
